Obverse Design - features an image of a Cicada (Nanai), the Fiji Coat of Arms and a golden cowrie (Buli kula).
Reverse Design - features a Tourism theme with depictions of island with white sandy beaches, map of Fiji Islands with the 180° Meridian Line marking the ‘dawn of a new day’ smiling faces representing Fiji’s friendliness, a typical cruise boat for island hopping and tourists snorkelling.
Additional features on the obverse side include vertical and horizontal serial numbers, 4mm Windowed Starchrome® thread with the denominational numeral and RBF’s ‘tagaga’ logo and a Dual-Image™ holographic strip with the denominational numeral, the letters “RBF” and flora and fauna designs. The reverse side features the Gemini™ feature which appears in the form of the RBF’s logo ‘tagaga’ on the bottom right-hand corner of the note, and on each side a see-through subject in the form of a carved mast - head (Domodomo).
