2012 Flora & Fauna Series $50 Banknote

Obverse Design - features an image of a Medinella Water-house (Tagimoucia) flower, the Fiji Coat of Arms and a whale’s tooth necklace (Wasekaseka).

Reverse Design - features a culture and heritage theme with depictions of traditional ceremonies of Tabua presentation and Yaqona Vakaturaga.

Additional features on the obverse side include vertical and horizontal serial numbers, a 4mm Windowed Scroll® thread with the denominational numeral and RBF’s ‘tagaga’ logo and a Dual-Image™ holographic strip with the denominational numeral, the letters “RBF” 
and flora and fauna designs. The reverse side features the Gemini™ feature which appears in the form of the RBF’s logo ‘tagaga’ on the bottom right-hand corner of the note, and on each side a see-through subject in the form of a carved mast- head (Domodomo).
